Authentication

Scripts and backends send an API key. Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT sign you in when you connect them — nothing to paste.

Web app vs. integrations

The site signs you in. The dashboard, watchlist, and Filings browser never need an API key. Use a key for scripts, notebooks, and backends.

API keys (REST & scripts)

  1. Create a key on Dashboard → API keys (shown once).
  2. Send X-API-Key: of_… on every request.
  3. Use HTTPS only — never ship keys in browser bundles or public repos.

Agents

Connect Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT and sign in when asked. No API key. Steps: Connect an agent.

Rotate or revoke

Delete a compromised key on the dashboard and create a new one. Old keys stop immediately. Multiple keys per account are fine (CI vs laptop).
