PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of alkylbenzene (AB) chemicals, which is a main raw material used in producing detergents. It also produces Heavy Alkylate (HA) as its by product. The Company has two business segments, namely Chemicals and Real Estate. Its main business activities include operating business activities in other organic basic chemical industries, warehousing and storage, large trading of various goods, activities of real estate that is owned or leased, and motorized transportation of public goods. The Company has approximately three units of AB plants built in one location with a total production capacity of 270,000 metric tons (MT) per annum. It exports its products in the United States of America, Australia, the Netherlands, China, Japan, Malaysia, France, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its subsidiaries include Universal Interchemicals Corp.
