Prodlacta SA is a Romania-based producer of milk and dairy products. Its product range includes milk, butter, cheese, ice cream and mayonnaise. The Company’s services include storage and distribution of dairy products, as well as transportation activities. The Company distributes its products nationally, in the county and city of Brasov, in Bucharest, and in the counties of Prahova, Harghita, Constanta, Galati, Arges, Sibiu, Bacau, and Mures. Its main clients are Metro, Selgros, Carrefour, Real, Cora, Kaufland and Auchan. The Company owns three production and storing plants in Brasov, Fagaras and Homorod. As of December 31, 2010, ASMC Prodlacta held a 41.75% stake in Prodlacta SA. As of December 12, 2011, the Company was in the process of insolvency.
