• Environmental remediation liabilities were $355 million, while climate-related litigation in Delaware, Maryland, and Oregon has uncertain and potentially material exposure.
• MPC's $6.45 billion of corporate senior notes are structurally subordinated to indebtedness at subsidiaries, including MPLX, concentrating creditor claims at the operating subsidiaries.
