DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG (DWK), formerly CGift AG, is a Germany-based energy company. The Company's object is project development, acquisition, operation and asset management of hydropower plants and hydropower-related assets in Germany and abroad. It supports its co-investors in the purchase, operation and possible sale of power plants. The Company's core business is developing, acquiring and operating of small run-of-river power plants as well as their optimization. It uses its own portfolio of hydroelectric power plants which has a stable source of electricity generation that does not produce any CO2 emissions. DWK focuses primarily on run-of-river power plants in the size segment up to 10 MW (megawatt) nominal output in Norway, Scandinavia and locations in Western Europe.
