Risk Management
Risk Management
Genus operates across a diverse range of industries, geographic locations and operating environments and is exposed to a
variety of risks that may impact the achievement of its strategic objectives, operational performance, financial position and
reputation.
The Board is responsible for overseeing the Company's risk management framework and regularly reviews the effectiveness
of the framework to ensure it remains appropriate for the scale, complexity, and nature of the Company's activities. Risk
management is supported by management processes designed to identify, assess, monitor and manage risks across the
business and to support informed decision-making.
Genus adopts a proactive approach to risk management, aligned with AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 and the ASX Corporate
Governance Principles and Recommendations. The Company's risk management framework is intended to facilitate the
identification and management of risks and opportunities while supporting the achievement of the Company's strategic
objectives.

absolute assurance that all risks will be eliminated. The following summary outlines the principal risks that may have a
material impact on the Company's performance, financial position, reputation or ability to achieve its strategic objectives,
